From IT to Fashion — A Story of Passion and Purpose
Mansour was founded by Hosang Safare, a former IT professional who once built digital solutions for companies like Microsoft — but whose heart had always belonged to fashion.
Without any formal education or background in design, Hosang began sketching his first ideas in 2020, inspired by his love for sneakers and the craftsmanship behind them.
Though life took him down another path for a while, that creative spark never faded. In 2022, he decided to pursue his passion more seriously — studying fabrics, learning production from the ground up, and searching for a name that felt deeply personal.
That name became Mansour.
It was inspired by Al-Mansour, a district in Baghdad his father used to tell stories about — a place once known for its elegance, energy, and where the newest fashion would arrive first. Those stories became the foundation of a vision: to build a brand that celebrates heritage, individuality, and timeless design.
By the end of 2022, Mansour was officially registered.
In 2023, the first collection came to life — and in March 2024, the debut Spring/Summer 2024 drop launched to overwhelming response. Customers instantly connected with the story, the craftsmanship, and the honesty behind the garments.
Design Meets Quality
Mansour’s collections are designed in the Netherlands and crafted in Portugal and Italy, at workshops renowned for their quality and expertise.
We work closely with family-owned factories that also produce for some of Europe’s most respected fashion houses — ensuring the highest standards from stitch to silhouette.
Over 90% of our production takes place in Portugal, allowing us to minimize transport emissions, support local artisans, and guarantee ethical working conditions. Every fabric is carefully sourced for its structure, feel, and longevity— from heavyweight jersey and brushed fleece to premium wool and leather.
Our goal is simple: to deliver designer-level quality at a fair and transparent price — clothing that feels good, fits well, and lasts season after season.
Planet First
We believe luxury should never come at the planet’s expense.
That’s why Mansour avoids overproduction, works with responsible fabric suppliers, and proudly does not use fur or exotic leather. Our packaging is recyclable or reusable, and we continuously refine our processes to reduce waste at every step.
Sustainability isn’t a trend to us — it’s a mindset embedded in every decision we make.
Your Voice Matters
Mansour is built on community and collaboration. Every message, review, and conversation with our customers helps us grow and refine what we do.
If you have feedback or ideas, we’d love to hear from you at info@themansour.com.
